The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the recovery of 35 stolen vehicles across Nigeria within the first half of 2025.
According to the agency, the recoveries were made possible through intelligence-driven operations and the use of the National Vehicle Identification Scheme (NVIS) portal, a data-based platform that has proven instrumental in combating vehicle-related crimes nationwide.
Reacting to the development, the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, praised the personnel behind the tracking and recovery operations. He described the success as clear evidence of the power of inter-agency collaboration and the role of technology in enhancing modern law enforcement efforts.
