APC Calls for Cancellation of Anambra Guber Election
By Chucks Anuma/ AWKA// The All Progressives, APC has called for the outright cancellation of the yesterday’s gubernatorial election in Anambra state.
Although, INEC has announce final outcome of the election but there are strong indication that the ruling party in the state, All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA was in in early lead as the collation of results by the election umpire was on going as at the time of filling this report.
Basil Ejidike, APC Chairman, in Anambra State in a statement stated that “What is happening in Anambra is never an election but big time electoral fraud and malpractice. We want the whole world to hear our voice that we will never accept the outcome of the Anambra Gubernatorial election.
“We want INEC to cancel the election and fix a date for a fresh election devoid of manipulations and malpractices. But if INEC goes ahead to announce the results, we will definitely challenge the election process at the court of law, up-to Supreme Court. Nobody can intimidate us”
